Dear Alumnus,

One of our alumni, Ashish Antia-Mody (1993 I.C. S.E. Wilson) wishes to pay a small tribute to the late Mrs. Gita Krishnamurthy, who was with the Cathedral and John Connon School for many years.

Ashish owns a Holistic Therapy Center in Dubai and practices as a Holistic and Spiritual Consultant. She facilitates healing and life-style changes intuitively through a blend of therapies. She practices pranic healing, crystal therapy, pranic feng shui, traditional yoga therapy, affirmations and meditation. Ashish also runs workshops and support groups for stress management in our day to day hectic lives.

On January 16, 2010 Ashish has offered to share a version of her Stress Workshop with us. It will be two hours long and will inter alia cover what stress is, how to identify it, what a psychosomatic ailment is and how to handle the above through holistic therapies. She will also share a few tips on yoga, our energy body and meditation with the participants. Those who do not suffer from any heart ailment, blood pressure fluctuations or glaucoma can join in a short meditation at the end of the workshop.

The workshop will be held at the Cathedral and John Connon Senior School Hall on January 16, 2009 between 4.30 p.m and 7.30 p.m. There will be a limited number of seats so please register with Ruby Rele at Art Point Gallery, Beach View, Chowpatty, Near Cream Centre 11a.m. to 5.00 p.m. – Monday to Saturday (Tel: 2369 4418) or contact Ruby Rele at 9930577120 excluding Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3 p.m – 5 p.m when Ruby will be at the Cathedral and John Connon Junior School Green Room.
