Mrs. Thrity Nargolwalla joined Cathedral School - Girl's Section as the Hindi teacher and remained a member of the school for over 40 years. Sadly she passed on in October 2009, leaving behind her loving family of husband, Pahli, daughter Dilnaz Billimoria (former head girl), son-in-law Homi Billimoria and grandchildren Friyana and Shahzad Billimoria.
Her students fondly recall the passion with she introduced 'Premchand-ki-kahani' and directed the Hindi school play in Senior School. Former colleague and friend Mrinalini Kochar pays tribute to Mrs Nargolwalla saying: 'As a teacher, House Mistress and colleague, she was greatly loved. I hope that Mr Nargolwalla and Dilnaaz and her family will find consolation in the thought that many people feel their lives were enriched by their contact with Thrity'
