Donations to the general purpose fund are used to further our mission and objectives, i.e. promoting and maintaining contacts among the ex-students and the former teachers of The Cathedral & John Connon School by holding social functions, sporting events, fund-raising drives, reunions, publishing the X-Cathedralite, maintaining a website, creating alumni chapters in different cities, awarding prizes to deserving students at speech day each year, and making charitable contributions to deserving organizations in India.
